Terms and Conditions
Last updated: April 2026
These terms govern your use of the Pure Signal platform (“the Service”), operated by DSC Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, trading as The Pure Signal.
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. About the Service
The Pure Signal provides recruitment tools for candidates and recruiters, including CV analysis, job matching, integrity profiling, and job description tooling. The Service is currently in an early access phase and is provided on an as-is basis.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
3. Your account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating your account and keep it up to date.
4. Your data and privacy
We take your privacy seriously. We will:
- Keep your personal data confidential and store it securely.
- Never sell your personal information to third parties.
- Never share information about you with other users of the Service without your express permission. For example, if you are a candidate and choose to apply for a role, relevant information from your profile will be shared with the recruiter for that role only with your consent.
- Process your data in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
For full details of how we handle your data, see our Privacy Policy.
You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at [email protected].
5. Email communications
By signing up for and using the Service, you consent to receiving emails from us. Your ability to use the Service — including but not limited to logging in — requires receiving emails from us, so this consent cannot be withdrawn while your account remains active. If you do not wish to receive emails from us, you should delete your account. We will not spam you.
6. Content you provide
By uploading content to the Service (including CVs, job descriptions, and any other information), you confirm that:
- You have the right to use and share that content.
- The content does not infringe the intellectual property or other rights of any third party.
- The content is, to the best of your knowledge, accurate and not intentionally misleading.
You retain ownership of any content you upload. You grant DSC Ltd a licence to process, analyse, and store that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you and other authorised users.
7. AI-generated content and analysis
Parts of the Service use artificial intelligence to generate analysis, recommendations, scores, and other outputs. This content:
- May be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date.
- Should not be relied upon as the sole basis for making hiring decisions, career decisions, or any other decisions of significance.
- Is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute professional advice of any kind.
You are responsible for independently verifying any information provided by the Service before acting on it.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its systems.
- Submit false, fabricated, or intentionally misleading information.
- Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the Service unless expressly authorised.
- Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Service.
- Use the Service to harass, discriminate against, or cause harm to any person.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe you have breached these terms.
9. Availability
The Service is provided on an as-available basis. We do not guarantee that the Service will be available at all times or that it will be free from errors or interruptions. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice.
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend any individual user account at any time, for any reason, at our sole discretion. Termination of one account does not affect the availability of the Service to other users.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or accuracy.
- Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you have paid to us for use of the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim. Where the Service has been provided free of charge, our liability is limited to zero.
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of revenue, loss of data, or loss of opportunity.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under English law.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via the email address associated with your account. Your continued use of the Service after such notification constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
